Got Warts

Recently I’ve had much interest in how to deal with warts. Here are some wart facts:

*Warts are certainly not uncommon; in fact warts are called “common warts” to             distinguish them from genital warts which are sexually transmitted.

*Warts are caused by a virus called the human papilloma virus or HPV. Most common   warts are found on the hands but can be anywhere on the body.

*Most warts will eventually disappear on their own but this could take years.

*Warts can be painful, embarrassing and definitely contagious.

Common medical treatment may include burning, freezing, cutting and peeling off the skin OUCH!  These treatments may address the symptom but not the cause of the problem.  Often these warts grow back.
